Fieldpine is available as either Cloud or Self Hosted. With Fieldpine Online (cloud) your data is hosted on our servers, and pricing is based around devices (PC, tablet, mobile phone).
Self hosted runs Fieldpine on your servers instore and pricing is more based around stores.
You can mix and match, using both Fieldpine Online and Self hosted.

Document scanning allows you to take source documents, paper or email based and have Fieldpine attempt to read and process the contents. This
can save a lot of time and effort around inwards goods handling, or capturing all documents in remote stores.
If we detect only minimal information, the cost is 5.1 cents/page.
If we can decode most of the document, the cost is 15 cents/page
If a document is loaded multiple times, the cost is between 0 and 7 cents/page, most likely 3.2cents. The variation is due
to how many steps meed to be performed before the duplicate load is detected

FAQ
What does it realistically cost/month?
If you are uploading say 100 single page invoices per month, each individual document is probably less than 1Mb each in size.
So storing those documents is 100 (1Mb each) * 10c/Gb = 1 cent/month
Processing charges is a maximum of 100 * 15 cents = $15.00
What does it realistically cost/month at volume?
Lets assume you are loading say 2000 documents per month. Your process involves staff photographing/scanning the paperwork
in the receiving dock, while accepting the goods. Then as a check that all documents are captured, you also re-scan the whole days
paperwork each evening.
Storing 2000 documents long term will cost is 2000 (1Mb each) * 10c/Gb = 20 cent/month
Processing charges, assuming 1800 are fully decoded, 1800 * 15 cents = $270
And say 200 are unreadable (blury, picture of their hand, etc) 200 * 2.2 cents = $4.40
Rescanning each document at EOD = 1800 * 3.2cents = $57.60
Plus detecting the 200 blurry ones from earlier = 200 * 15 cents = $30.00
Why is a document, "Not fully decoded"?
A document is considered "not fully decoded" if we are unable to use the majority of the document to automate a task within Fieldpine, such as
prepopulating inwards goods screens. A virtually every invoice has a different layout - and we need time to detect a new format - the lower charge reflects
that the document scan wasn't as useful as it could have been
Fieldpine receives scanned document
Fieldpine "reads" the document and tries to extract useful text. (cost 2.2 cents)
Does the document have minimally useful information, Supplier, total amount, invoice number etc. (If yes, cost is now 5.1 cents)
We try to match this document to your data, linking products, partcodes, orders. If the data is available for the matching against your database, then the
document is "fully decoded".
Text messaging allows Fieldpine to send SMS messages to the contacts in your database, such as reminders, receipt links, marketing and so on.

The messaging rates are set between you and the SMS provider, Fieldpine do not charge a margin
If your provider supplies delivery reports or replies in electronic form, then we charge $2 per 2,000 messages (or part thereafter) per month, to cover the
costs of infrastructure to process these notifications. The first 2,000 messages a month are charged at $0.
If you send 1,500 messages in a month, there is no Fieldpine charge.
If you send 2,500 messages in a month, there will be a $2 charge.
If you send 9,000 messages in a month, there will be a $8 charge (9,000 minus 2,000 = 7,000. Which is 4 blocks of 2,000)
Internet Online Storage is where Fieldpine holds documents on your behalf so that we can provide various services. This storage is required
for both Fieldpine Online and Self Hosted - these are documents that are always stored in the cloud.
Copies of Receipts, Invoices, Statements to allow customers to access them

When using Fieldpine to automatically read photos/scans or electronic documents, such as invoices, then a cost between $ 0.01 and $ 0.20 applies per page processed.
The cost varies depending on type of input document, visual clarity and other such factors. Charges for document recognition can use any free credits you may have.

Have Fieldpine automatically copy key files to cloud storage using Fieldpines storage account. A simple tick and forget form of POS backups when
using Self Hosted or inhouse solutions.

Custom Domains for Fieldpine Online

This is only required when using Fieldpine Online it
is not required for self hosted.
